robinson and Argument
In the column "Would Cruz be any better than Trump?",Robinson presents the argument that Trump, although radical may not be any better than his opposition, Ted Cruz. He begins his argument by outlining Cruz's faults such as "alienating the GOP establishment" and how Cruz "crossed to the other side of the capitol and led the House Republicans toward fiscal cliff after fiscal cliff" (Robinson 7-8). Robinson then puts emphasis on the extremity of Trump's views and mentions that Cruz's views are just as extreme, if not more extreme. He ends his argument by saying that Trump, although extreme at least cloaks his "unthinkable policies beneath certain populist appeal".
